A Minnesota woman was arrested after she bit off part of her husband's ear due to an argument they had over a beer, SC Timesreports. 
When officers arrived at scene, they found the husband of Jamie Elrod, 37, sitting there bleeding and missing part of his ear.The victim told officers the two of them got into a fight over a beer that resulted in her going "off at him." 
Officers said it looked like Elrod had been drinking and claimed she has no idea what happened to his ear, despite her having blood on her hands and on her clothing. 
According to legal document on The Smoking Gun, the victim had admitted to getting into a fight with someone else before he came home and argued with Elrod, but her jail phone calls later confirmed that she'd admitted to biting off her husband's ear.
She's currently being held in jail on a $30,000 bond. The status of the man's mangled ear is currently unknown.
